Does God See the Faith of the Intercessor(s)?

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; son be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Matth 9:1-2.

In the healing of the man with the palsy in Jesus’s city, the Bible records that Jesus saw their faith.

Did they pray for their faith to be seen? Or did they do other works separate from prayer?

And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; son be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Matt 9:1-2.

It was not recorded whether they did pray at the time, but Jesus prayed for the man after seeing ‘their faith’.  It was not the faith of one but of many.

Bringing someone to God with the belief that God will heal him, while the person is sick, can show our faith also even though the person may not have faith. Despite not knowing how to pray, the sacrifices that are made in transporting the person to the place of worship, binding his wounds, encouraging the person that the Master will heal him; the care we give to him, hoping for the day of visitation, despite not praying for him for we know not how to pray; but believing that God will heal him, instead of giving up, can be very instrumental in our walk of faith unto his healing.

Does God see the faith of the intercessor (who could be an apostle, a prophet, a pastor, even a lay man or woman)?

There are faithful men according to the Word and the Scripture is full of the testimony of men who have healed the sick, raised the dead, and done great wonders by faith, of which it records time will fail it to mention them all. So God can see our faith as intercessors and help others.

In conclusion, our belief in God and whom he has sent is the work that we need to do, according to the Gospel. And we can show our faith by our works. Surely, he will not despise nor forsake us; for he that has promised is faithful, according to the Word. He will keep his Word to build us up in love, bind us up, and heal our diseases. May the Almighty God increase our faith and give us the gift of righteousness for his marvelous works, Amen.
