Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Eph 5:6. Vain or empty words can bring the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Particularly in the Bible we are admonished that all written therein is true. And no less than the fact that God heals diseases and raises the dead, and does great and dreadful works.
In the Gospel, we see a situation where Jesus called up a man with a withered hand:
And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. Mark 3:3-5.
On a certain night, I had gone to bed to sleep. Having not had the premonition of what was about to happen, I was relaxed. In the midnight, in a dream, a demon hit my left hand with something I cannot describe. Few days after that, the left hand began to stiffen and bend into a hard posture. I could not flex, nor move anything with it. After some days, it was permanently withered.
I cried and yelled, and was besieged with distress and distrust after thinking that the hand was permanently disabled. Then, I called upon the Lord in prayer and he answered me, and sent his word and healed the disease. The Lord Jesus heard my cry and saved me. What shall I render unto the Lord for his goodness, grace and loving-kindness unto me? With all within me, will I seek him and praise him all the days of my life.
God who cannot lie promises us eternal life, according to the Gospel. He promises that he is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or think; and heal our diseases. Building on these promises, let us believe and draw near unto God, who can do great and mighty wonders in the physical and unseen realms through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
May the Lord teach us how to draw close to him in faith; for the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. James 5:15.
